Tech & Learning Launches New Social Media Hub In Time for Bett 2015

NEW YORK, NY (January 20, 2015) — Tech & Learning, the leading professional learning resource for K-12 Ed Tech, has announced it is launching Tech & Learning’s Live @ Bett 2015, a new social media hub where editors will curate the hottest social media posts and trending comments before, during, and after the Bett 2015 Show, Jan. 21-24 in London. Tech & Learning’s Live @ Bett 2015 is sponsored by Intel® Education.

The social media hub (go to www.Techlearning.com/LiveatBett2015) will be available in December and January to attendees at the show — and anyone interested in BETT — to access on their mobile phones or laptops and tablets and follow the show remotely.  In addition to their own analysis and posts, Tech & Learning’s editors will curate the most interesting and informative social posts from Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Vine, and most any other social feed that global Ed Tech opinion leaders use to discuss what’s happening at the show.

“This social media hub is an example of how our editors are serving our audiences with the latest media techniques and technology,” says Allison Knapp, publisher of Tech & Learning. “The value of our editors’ insights in prioritizing and putting industry trends in context has always been core to attracting our global audience of Ed Tech decision makers such as district administrators, CIOs, and technology-driven educators. In the age of social media, this curation expertise is even more critical.”

Tech & Learning will use this social media hub platform to cover other industry events such as SXSWedu and ISTE, as well as its own events such as the School CIO Summit and Tech & Learning Live’s regional one-day conferences for Ed Tech leaders.

“Intel Education is excited to sponsor the Tech & Learning Live @ Bett 2015 social media hub and utilize this new social content curation platform to provide the people of education worldwide with the latest news from Bett Show 2015,” sates Elizabeth Crawford, Global Education Strategist, Intel. “We know social media is a key professional learning tool for educators and professionals attending education events. We look forward to connecting with you online and at Bett.”
