NEW YORK, NY (August 27, 2015) – Broadcasting & Cable and Multichannel News today announced the first keynote speakers for the Next TV Summit & Expo, set for Thursday, October 21, 2015 at the Park Central Hotel New York. The Next TV Summit & Expo is one of the cornerstone conferences taking place during 2015 New York City Television Week that also includes The Hispanic Television Summit, The Content Show, Advanced Advertising and the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame.
The keynoters include Jay Sures, Managing Director, United Talent Agency and Roger Lynch, Chief Executive Officer of Sling TV, LLC and Executive Vice President of Advanced Technologies for DISH. Both keynotes will be within a Q&A format.

Jay Sures will share his high-level insight on how one of the world’s biggest talent agencies in this digital, audience-first era views the changing television practice. The discussion will include how top television creators sell their projects in a rapidly changing television ecosystem and the many forces that are at play: shifting viewers habits, advertiser angst, cord-cutting millennials and aggressive competition among streaming platforms. Sures will also talk broadly about the changing role of talent agencies in the today’s global media and entertainment landscape.
One of the leading executives in UTA’s acquisition of Bienstock agency, Jay Sures has made UTA the industry’s leading broadcast news agency. As Managing Director, Sures oversees UTA’s well-recognized television practice, his own star roster of clients, and is the co-founder of the UTA Foundation, the agency’s 501©3 non-profit organization that advises clients and employees on philanthropy. In addition to his roles at UTA, Sures is also Vice-Chairman of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), Hollywood’s largest and oldest charity.

Roger Lynch will offer his high-level perspective on the future of the TV, media and entertainment landscape.
