NEW YORK, NY (November 8, 2017) — Tom Rousseau has been named Chief Revenue Officer of NewBay, a new position established to lead sales, marketing and audience development, CEO Steve Palm announced today.
Rousseau will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of all sales, marketing, and audience development across NewBay’s expansive U.S. portfolio of marketing solutions, media, and events, including Broadcasting & Cable, NYC Television Week, TV Technology, TWICE, Systems Contractor News, and Tech & Learning. He will be focused on engineering data-driven solutions that deliver high ROI for marketers, and that create high-value and unique solutions to key marketing needs — including brand/product awareness, thought leadership, and demand generation.
Prior to joining NewBay, Rousseau was Executive Vice President, Strategic Marketing Services for Hanley Wood, where he established a data and digital-focused client services team that was dedicated to delivering high-value, ROI-driven solutions to marketers. Under Tom’s leadership, Hanley Wood’s marketing services revenue grew 400% in five years. Before Hanley Wood, Rousseau held leadership positions with IDG and Ziff Davis Enterprise.
