The Mix Master Directory was founded as a directory of recording studios in Northern California in 1977, along with the first issue of Mix magazine. From there, it appeared in every issue of Mix as a published regional section, with an annual directory published each year, until 2008.
Now, thanks to customer demand, the Mix Master Directory has been re-launched as a comprehensive, easy-to-use website.
